Idiot-proof truffles; Worth every bite
This will make approx. 20 small truffles. As shown on the pic, I used those small cups for pralines.
100g dark chocolate
50g white chocolate
70g sugar powder
50g butter – I used ‘creamy butter’ so ‘masło śmietankowe’ , not sure if I ever saw it outside Poland, anyways it’s butter without salt and based more on the cream; it’s just nicer for sweets; foreigners – you just use unsalted butter 🙂
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
4-5 tablespoons desiccated coconut
10 tea biscuits (mix them in a blender so that they turn into powder)
2 tablespoons big raisins
Melt both chocolates together: chop chocolate into small pieces and place into a bowl over another bowl with boiling water. This way the chocolate will melt and won’t dry out. Beat butter with sugar powder, add chocolate, minced biscuits and cocoa powder. Form small balls – put a raisin into each of them and roll over in desiccated coconut. Put into a fridge for 1-2 hours.
