Poe | Life Is But A Stream of Thoughts

I love dark and gloomy writings so I’ve been checking on E.A Poe’s biography..

Older people are always whinging about how rotten the youths are due to drugs & alcohol overdose. Nothing can beat Edgar Allan Poe; first, he nearly died in who died in 1848 from drugs overdose (laudanum) , he was a celebrity well known as depraved alcoholic, junkie madman, who was being found on the streets of Baltimore in the state of delirium. He died at the age of 40 and the death cause is still disputed and the possible causes are: suicide, murder, cholera, rabies, syphilis, influenza, hypoglycemia, heart disease, poisoning, apoplexy, epilepsy, brain tumor, diabetes or alcohol & drugs overuse and finally, that he became a victim of cooping (intoxicated by force in order to cooperate with some politic party).. Nice.That is exactly what you’d expect from somebody who wrote ‘the Black cat’ and others.
